SDG 16 CONFERENCE 2023
We are honored to announce that our President Marjus Ceveli participated on behalf of our organization, as a member of the Civil Society Platform for Peacebuilding and Statebuilding, at the fourth SDG 16 Conference.
At a time when intersecting global crises are posing unprecedented challenges to advancing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, the International Development Law Organization and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy organized the fourth SDG 16 Conference that took place from 30 May to 1 June 2023 in Rome, Italy.
Prior to the 2023 SDG16 conference, on May 29, was hosted the pre-conference Civil Society Day, to provide a space for all civil society participants to coordinate and meet before the official beginning of the conference.
Our President Marjus Ceveli addressed also a speech during the Rome Civil Society declaration panel focusing on “Delivering catalytic financing for SDG16+ and fixing a broken global financial system”.
