SCPS at the Future of Europe Youth Summit 3.0

Organized by USR Tineret in collaboration with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, and hosted in the historical city of Iași in Romania, the Future of Europe Youth Summit brings together young people from parties affiliated to Renew Europe to debate about the Future of Europe and its connection with the European youth. SCPS was invited to participate at the main panel on the 13th of May, titled “The Phenomenon of Disinformation in the Context of War and Tensions in 21st Century Europe“.

We thank USR Tineret and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for the opportunity to engage young political activists from all over Europe on such a critical and present topic.

USR Tineret is the youth organisation of the “Uniunea Salvați România” (USR), a liberal political party. Founded in 2016 after the success of the “Save Bucharest Union” movement, USR is currently the third largest party in the Parliament of Romania.

Based on the principles of liberalism, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom offers political education in Germany and abroad. Founded in 1958, the foundation supports the active engagement of people and students in political affairs through events, publications, and scholarships.

SCPS promotes and supports the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolutions for “Youth, Peace and Security” and “Women, Peace and Security“, and the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda to build more inclusive and peaceful societies.
