Monetising Misogyny: Engagement Farming and the Tactics Behind Incendiary Online Content

SCPS has responded to the United Nations’ yearly initiative “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” with a report on the monetisation of violent misogyny and gendered hate speech online.

Together with our colleagues Rachele Gilman at the Cardigan Collective and Laura Bucher at Dare to be Grey, we responded to the Global Network on Extremism & Technology (GNET) call for contributions under their special series on “Gender and Online Violent Extremism”.
